This Article contains a dedicated full Review of Bluehost Webhosting.
For it I have purchased it’s Shared Hosting Plan Since a year back.
And till now I noticed all the Pros and Cons whichever existed.
So this Review is going to be totally neutral.
By the way, If You are in a hurry. I have a Special Coupon deal for You.
It will give You a total 70% OFF on whichever Plan You Purchase, i.e. After Applying it, You will have to Pay only (70% OFF) $2.95/mo. to purchase any Shared Hosting Plan of Bluehost Webhost.
But Yet, I recommend to read You the whole Review.
Or if not whole, but atleast the Summary. So that You will get to know the Personalized Pros and Cons.
During last year I found many good points i.e. it’s Speed, it’s Uptime, it’s inodes usage policy (they limits a 50k inodes usage but you can actually use it till 200k, and that’s a good point).
Even if you are running a decent traffic site, then still it’s basic plan works fairly.
Few bad Points in short if I say is it’s pricing, i.e. at the beginning if you are purchasing it for 1 Year (If I say) then it would be a costly deal.
So try purchasing it for 3 years (It would cheapest hereon)
Rest, I have thoroughly tried to update my website (in which Bluehost is it’s webhosting). And it had Worked Well.
On the Other hand, You have to compromise on Customer Support Service (You will not get a 100% Satisfaction here)
Bluehost Hosting plans :Which Plan to Choose?
It has a variety of Hosting Plans, as per your need.
Be it VPS hosting or Cloud Hosting or any other, it has every options available here.
Shared hosting: (Starts at $
7.95/mo. √ $2.95/mo.) Shared hosting is the perfect way to start a new website with low traffic volume. In a shared hosting environment, your website shares server resources with other websites.
- Cloud hosting: (Starts at $6.95/mo.) A more reliable upgrade to the shared hosting plan. It allows you to utilize multiple cloud servers, allowing your website to automatically switch to a different server in case of a hardware failure or high traffic.
- WordPress hosting: (Starts at $2.95/mo.) A hosting package designed specifically for WordPress powered websites. It is optimized to run WordPress and can even protect your WordPress site against common threats.
- WordPress Pro hosting: (Starts at $19.99/mo.) It is basically a VPS hosting well made for WordPress. And Promises Premium Services.
- VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting: (Starts at $19.99/mo.) An upgrade to shared WordPress hosting, VPS hosting allows you to virtual dedicated resources in a shared environment.
- Dedicated server hosting: (Starts at $79.99/mo.) A dedicated server to for your website, means you will have all the resources of the server to yourself. The downside is that you will have to manage the server on your own.
I have not used it’s all services. But I would say Since it’s Cheapest performs well. You can guess about the costlier one.
I will Review it’s Shared Hosting Plan.
It’s Regular Pricing is way too high i.e. $7.95/month.
However My Bluehost 70% OFF Coupon on it’s Shared Hosting plans. So with all pluses and minuses the pricing of Basic plan drops down to $2.95/month (when you will purchase it for 3 years while beginning)
My Opinion : Since these two plans i.e. Plus ($5.95/mo) and Choice Plus ($5.95/mo) are both price at same cost.I will suggest you to buy Choice plus Plan for 3 years. Otherwise buy it’s Basic Plan if you are a beginner.

Bluehost Reliability Test (with Uptime, Loadtime and All Performance Proof)
Bluehost Uptime Review
I am Using Bluehost Since more than 1 Years and Luckily I was able to Record the performance data (which I have not recorded from the beginning in Siteground’s Case) from the beginning of my Bluehost Journey itself. So It will become easier to Judge the Performance on those data basis.
|Feb 2020 average Uptime||99.99%|
|Jan 2020 average Uptime||100%|
|Dec 2019 average Uptime||99.98%|
|Nov 2019 average Uptime||99.99%|
|Oct 2019 average Uptime||99.95%|
|Sept 2019 average Uptime||99.96%|
|Aug 2019 average Uptime||99.99%|
|Jul 2019 average Uptime||100%|
|June 2019 average Uptime||99.98%|
|May 2019 average Uptime||99.95%|
|April 2019 average Uptime||99.93% (Lowest)|
|March 2019 average Uptime||99.99%|
|Feb 2019 average Uptime||100%|
My Opinion : Since the present Google Algorithm monitors and crawl every data of your website all the time. A Good Uptime Says positive to Google about your website. So Uptime is a very important parameter before choosing a webhost. Here with the StartUp plan all I found is a Good experience (that’s what the above data in the table says).
Bluehost LoadTime Review
|Feb 2020 average Loadtime||623 ms|
|Jan 2020 average Loadtime||711 ms|
|Dec 2019 average Loadtime||723 ms|
|Nov 2019 average Loadtime||801 ms|
|Oct 2019 average Loadtime||689 ms|
|Sept 2019 average Loadtime||666 ms|
|Aug 2019 average Loadtime||751 ms|
|Jul 2019 average Loadtime||678 ms|
|June 2019 average Loadtime||742 ms|
|May 2019 average Loadtime||690 ms|
|April 2019 average Loadtime||771 ms (Lowest)|
|March 2019 average Loadtime||634 ms|
|Feb 2019 average Loadtime||612 ms|
My Opinion : However Hosting is one of the factor that affects website’s Speed. From Your side you can do things like less plugins (in case of WordPress Users), Use of compressed image, less j-query strings, better CDN. I will write a whole new article on How to maximize your website’s speed and minimize loadtime at the lowest with few Simple but effectual efforts. And for it You have to Subscribe BlogVeda (to subscribe scroll at the bottom of the post).
Is Bluehost Reliable for WordPress with it’s Cheapest Plan?
You will not believe but Yes Your WordPress Website can run fast with Perfect Reliability in Basic Plan as well.
Bluehost Customer Support Review
You can reach them over Call, Live Chat, Email Support (via Ticket System).
Over Call : It took an approx. 2 minutes of wait time to get one to one with the technical assistant. His technical knowledge had solved my problem, but it took a bit of my time to get into it.
Over Live Chat : An approx. 1 minute of wait time. It could have been better, Since after having Siteground’s Live Chat Support the aspiration level is too high for me.
E-mail Support : The first Reply was within 24 hours, Yet I was expecting it within 1 hour but 5 – 6 was OK here.
Overall : It’s another EIG Company. If You Expect best here. You will get 90% Satisfied in terms of Customer Care Support.

This is how the Bluehost cPanel look like.
After writing the whole Review, and You after Reading the whole Review may have eyed it with Positiveness.
Despite high Renewal Cost, the introductory Price sums up very well.
Uptime and LoadTime is well managed. My site had a single downtime in the last one year.
The interface they have made it easiest among all webhosts.
It’s a blessing to a WordPress blogger using Bluehost.
Customer Support not that perfect as I found in Siteground Webhost.
They offer less Inodes (Files usage) i.e. 50k, but it can be bearable upto 200k.
In Short any beginner/ Medium/ Pro developer can choose Bluehost and run his website very well.
By the Way, I have a Good News for You.
I have a 70% Off Coupon link, that will reduce the Bluehost Shared hosting Plan i.e. only at $2.95/mo.
